| Prerequisite: ENVR 3K01 Core Project Studio/Retail & Hospitality Design (minimum grade of 60%) |

| This course is the working design studio associated with the thesis. Based on the thesis research and preparation completed by the student, a particular site and project are selected to demonstrate the thesis. The studio assists in the development of an appropriate design language expressive of the student's ideas and approach. The scheduling, project deadlines and presentations complete the design process, from schematic drawing through to design development. This process culminates in a competent design development presentation that includes planning, furniture layout and three-dimensional modelling. |

| Notes: Due to course content, it is required that students register with the SAME INSTRUCTORS for ENVR 4C01 and ENVR 4C02 and both courses must be taken in the same academic year. Thesis and thesis preparation courses are under review. |

| Conditions: Requires a minimum grade of 60% to advance to ENVR 4C02 Thesis III: Project Development. Should a student be unsuccessful in attaining a 60% average in ENVR 4C02, they will be required, regardless of their mark in ENVR 4C01 to repeat the fall component of Thesis, ENVR 4C01, as well as the winter component of Thesis, ENVR 4C02. |
