| (NOT OFFERED IN 2009-2010) This seminar course offers students at an advanced level the opportunity to discover and challenge preconceptions about a broad range of styles, genres, traditions and conventions of writing poetry, fiction and non-fiction in the late twentieth century. The focus of the course is on the development of individual style and the production of a body of work. Exposure to a cross-cultural variety of contemporary writing assists students to integrate theoretical and critical perspectives with their developing voices. |
