DEGREE/DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS

Specific course offerings and graduation requirements are outlined in the individual program guides. All students in the degree program must complete 5.0 liberal studies credits as outlined in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences/Degree/Diploma Requirements.

BFA Degree
The Faculty of Art offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with major programs in Criticism & Curatorial Practice, Drawing & Painting, Integrated Media, Photography, Printmaking and Sculpture/Installation.  BFA students must complete liberal studies courses in several areas of study, as outlined in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences Degree/Diploma Requirements.

Associate of OCAD University (AOCAD) Diploma
Students admitted to OCAD University prior to September 2005 who are completing the Faculty of Art diploma program may choose to pursue the AOCAD diploma in the Fine Art (No Major) program or in one of the following majors: Drawing & Painting, Integrated Media, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture/Installation. Diploma students are required to include 4.0 credits of liberal studies courses in their program, as outlined under the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences.  Diploma students may substitute studio/seminars for up to 1.0 credit of the liberal studies requirements.
