OCAD University reserves the right to change or amend its courses and to make any changes necessary to regulations, procedures, fees, course outlines, faculty, scheduling of classes and enrolment policies from those listed in this Course Calendar and elsewhere on this website.
The material contained in this Course Calendar has been submitted by the administrative departments and academic units concerned. All general information and course references have been checked for accuracy as far as possible. If errors or inconsistencies do occur, please bring these to the attention of the department responsible. Not every course listed will necessarily be offered in any academic year.
In the event of an inconsistency between the general academic regulations and policies published in Course Calendars, and such regulations and policies as established by university departments, the version of such materials as established by the University shall prevail.
The University reserves the right to limit enrolment in any program. Students should be aware that enrolment in many programs and courses is limited. While the University will make every reasonable effort to offer courses and classes required within programs, admission to a program does not guarantee admission to any specific course or class.
By the act of registration, every OCAD University student is to be bound by the regulations and policies of OCAD U and those of the faculties in which the student is registered.
It is the responsibility of all students to familiarize themselves each year with all the information in the section covering the Faculty in which they are enrolled as well as any general information sections of this online OCAD U Course Calendar, as well as that provided in the Policies & Regulations section of OCAD U's main site, or any additional regulations that may be published by the Office of the Registrar and/or the Faculty offices.
It is the responsibility of all students to be familiar with the specific requirements associated with the degree, diploma or certificate sought. While advice and counselling are available, it is the responsibility of students to ensure that the courses in which they are registered are appropriate to the program requirements of their faculty. Each student is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of his/her own academic record.
It is the responsibility of all students to be familiar with and abide by OCAD University’s “Guide to Policies and Procedures for Students” as well as any other regulations concerning student conduct.
