| Materials and Methods introduces students to the materials of wood and metal and the working methods and properties associated with them. Students will explore the material properties, characteristics and appropriateness for specific design outcomes. Students will also develop familiarity with workshop protocols including an understanding of health and safety procedures and familiarity with basic hand and machine tools. |
