| Form cannot be determined without determining Structure. Structure cannot be created without a consideration of Materials. Materials cannot be manipulated without an understanding of Tools and Technology. The Material Explorations courses focus on the elements and understanding necessary to create meaningful form, structures that can withstand forces, the range of materials that are available and the tools and techniques that can be safely applied in the materialization of designs. Material Explorations 3 will continue with the exposure to a variety of materials, techniques and the knowledge and thinking necessary to beneficially exploit them. |
