| In Drawing 2, students expand upon the experience gained in Drawing 1. Continuing their studies grounded in observation, students will intensify their understanding of 2D visualization and explore narrative strategies through a diverse range of media including print and digital processes. Students will be introduced to contemporary Canadian and other figurative practices while working further with the human figure. Conceptually based assignments will emphasize idea development, understanding drawing as a sustained creative practice, and will initiate students into some of the current issues in contemporary drawing. |
