| Prerequisite: All required 200- and 300-level PHOT Studio and STU/SEM courses and 3.0 credits of Liberal Studies and 13.0 credits, including all first-year and second-year requirements (10.0 credits). |

| This studio-seminar is designed to further and broaden the student’s knowledge and understanding of the diverse approaches to photographic practice. Through lectures, assigned readings, research, seminar presentations, the creation of a production schedule and a self-directed studio project, students will begin the development of a year-long body of work. This series will be reflective of the student’s individual interests and aesthetic sensibilities and will take its form in the student’s specific area of photographic practice. Additional emphasis is placed on discourses and methodologies that inform contemporary photographic practices. |
