APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

All applicants to non-program studies wishing to begin their studies at the College during the Summer Session must complete the Non-program Student Admission Application and submit it with the $50 non-refundable application fee to the Registrarial & Student Services office at 115 McCaul Street. Application for admission must be made at least four weeks prior to the first week of classes. Payment of the application fee does not guarantee admission to the College, nor does it guarantee registration in a course.

Eligible applicants must submit all required admission documentation to Registrarial & Student Services before their admission can be approved. Documents must be original (no photocopies or faxes), and may include, where applicable, proof of age, high school transcripts (OSSD or equivalent), post-secondary academic transcripts, proof of English language proficiency, proof of citizenship or immigration status.

Academic transcripts and proof of proficiency in English must be sent directly to the College by the issuing institution. Proof of age and proof of citizenship documentation must be presented in person to Registrarial & Student Services. Original proof of age and proof of citizenship documents will be returned to the student. Academic transcripts and proof of proficiency in English become the property of the College.

All international students must also present a valid study permit for the Ontario College of Art & Design and must participate in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP).

Students who have applied for and been denied admission to a College program may not register for any further courses at the Ontario College of Art & Design. This denial of admission status can be reversed by a successful reapplication for admission to the College as a degree student.
