This program is offered under the written consent of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the period from 26 June 2012 to 25 June 2017. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions). 
 
* Liberal Studies Breadth Requirements:
Students must complete at least 1.0 credit at the 300 or 400 levels

** Students must complete at least one Art and Design studio course per year.

*** Students may choose to use their electives to complete an Art, Liberal Arts & Sciences, or Interdisciplinary Studies minor. No fewer than 5.0 credits must be completed in ENGL, HUMN, SOSC and SCTM.

**** Additional Requirements

- Students must take at least two courses in Global Perspectives (see list below)
- Students must take at least two courses in pre-20th Century Art History (see list below)
- Students must take at least one Canadian Art History course (see list below)
