All First-Year general Art students are required to submit an application to major in late January.
Information Sessions are held in October and in January to assist students in gaining a better understanding of the Art programs. Progam Chairs present an overview, emphasizing the essentials and the highlights of their respective programs. A strong component of these sessions is the input from senior students, who respond to questions from personal experience.
General Art students may also apply to major in the Material Art & Design (MAAD) Program. This program is discussed in the October Information Session, and application for this program must made by November 15, 2012.
In addition, special offerings in the Faculty of Art, such as the Florence Program, Mobility Exchange, new program specializations, and minors are discussed.
