Cross-Disciplinary Art engages course offerings from Art, Design, Liberal Arts & Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies to foster hybrid and collaborative methodologies, critical thinking, acquisition of business and entrepreneurial skills and a multi-dimensional learning experience in a studio-based context.
Liberal studies courses provide cultural and historical contexts for these practices, grounding students’ work in solid critical skills. Supported by a lap top program, Cross-Disciplinary Art specializations include experiential learning opportunities that promote community awareness, collaboration, integration of practice and theory, speculative experimentation and the application of knowledge.
