Prerequisite: Minimum of 10 credits, including all first-year requirements (5.0 credits)
This discipline-based service-learning course is designed to give students enrolled in a studio-based art degree a chance to work in the broader art community. It will provide an opportunity for reflection on participatory and community-based strategies for artists within a working environment. The core of this course is the placement of the individual student in an art-related work situation. Students can fulfill this requirement either through external or internal placements. Students will choose from among placements that have been suggested by Career Development in tandem with the Faculty of Art.
Notes: Priority in registration is given to Digital Painting and Expanded Animation (DPXA): Integrated Media, Digital Painting and Expanded Animation (DPXA): Drawing & Painting and Publications Specializations students.
