| This course introduces and develops theories and methods required to design interactive communication for a variety of platforms and audiences, with emphasis on networked, screen-based applications including informational Web sites, Internet-based applications and computer games. Productive relationships between these platforms and mobile information appliances, such as smart phones and PDAs, will also be explored. Through a series of exercises, storyboards and short projects, students will gain knowledge and skills in research, conceptualization, diagramming, information architecture, navigation, and user interaction in online and other screen-based interactive communication. |
