Prerequisite: INTM 2B11 and 3.0 credits of first-year studio and 1.0 credit of first-year liberal studies, (must include one of the Essay and the Argument courses with a passing grade of 60%: ENGL 1B04 or ENGL 1B05, formerly LBST 1B11, LBST 1B12 or LBST 1B13). |

Students are introduced and encouraged to experiment with moving images, frame by frame including found footage, image overlays and direct animation. Mixing old and new technologies, film manipulation, video, sound and digital cinema are explored and combined experimentally. Theory and production planning are provided through screenings, demonstrations, discussions and hands-on instruction. |

Anti-requisite: Students who have taken INTM 2B15 Film: Frame by Frame or INTM 3B27 Film: Frame By Frame may not take may not take this course for credit. |
