This course will introduce students to the fascinating world of programming as a powerful tool for artistic expression. Students will work in a hands-on studio environment to create dynamic graphic and interactive artworks. Basic programming concepts will be introduced as a method for artistic expression with a variety of outcomes including 2-dimensional animation and basic interactions using simple sensors. This course will prepare students for further study in installation, electronics, animation and interactivity. No previous electronic or programming skills are required. |
