| This studio-seminar exposes students to the work of contemporary artists that challenges the disciplinary boundaries of drawing and painting and the notion of medium specificity. Through lectures, slide/video demonstrations, gallery visits, assigned readings, and two studio projects, students develop critical views and methodologies that allow them to further their contextual awareness of art and conceptualize interdisciplinary approaches to pictorial investigations. |
