| This course will provide students with a working knowledge and understanding of issues pertinent to professional Printmaking practice. Students will examine exhibition preparation, grant proposals, intellectual property issues, collaborations, public commissions and publications, as well as how to access regional, national and international exhibition opportunities. As well, this course will expand the students' understanding of theory and practice in contemporary printmaking and refine their presentation skills and vocabulary in prepartion for the thesis work. This course includes faculty and guest artists presentations, gallery visits, as well slide and video presentations. |
