In the Fourth Year of study in Integrated Media, students may choose to complete and exhibit a significant project or body of related works at an advanced level. The thesis is a culmination of the technical, conceptual and analytical skills that students will have acquired in their years of study at the University and the evidence of their own independent inquiry. Thesis: Research in the first term provides an opportunity for students to propose and formulate the research and steps necessary to realizing their work. Class presentations concentrate on students' research of critical issues and on critique as a means of creating a context and articulating the process of developing the work. |
|
Notes: Required for Integrated Media Thesis Majors. Studio Thesis: Research and Studio Thesis: Presentations must be completed in the same academic year. Equipment access is based on previous levels of learning and/or concurrent enrollment. Please take special note that this course has material fees associated with it. |
