| Any scholarly undertaking turns on the identification of an area of inquiry, the thorough review of the relevant literature and the production of a research design. The focus of this course will be on the development of a research proposal. Central to the work of the course will be research into a subject area and the construction of a viable hypothesis. This work will culminate in the presentation of formal research proposal for approval by a student's advisory committee. |
