| Prerequisite: 3.0 credits of first-year studio and 1.0 credit of Liberal Studies (including the Writing course with a passing grade of 60%). |

| This course introduces students to various technical, conceptual and visual methods of contemporary photographic practice. Specific focus is placed on the development of core technical skills sets in basic digital imaging, black and white and color photography, and acquisition of critical vocabulary through in-class demonstrations, lectures, gallery visits, student presentations and critiques. |

| Anti-requisite: UPDATED SEPTEMBER 10, 2008 PHOT 2B03 Introductory Photography: Basic, PHOT 2B05 Colour I, or PHOT 2B07 Digital Imaging I may not be taken for a credit if you are registered in or have completed PHOT 2C02 |

| Notes: PHOT 2C02 is equivalent to the combination of PHOT 2B03, PHOT 2B05 and PHOT 2B07; students may not take an overlap for credit. Required for 200-level Photography Majors. Priority in registration is given to Photography Majors. |
