Artists work in all aspects of publication: as writers, editors, designers, collaborators and key conceptual participants. In Publications: Editorial, students will learn to create publications in print, online and mobile forms. Through individual and collaborative assignments, students will be introduced to editorial development processes and design elements including typography and layout for print and dynamic content. Hands-on exposure through assignments will involve writing and editing text, collaboration methods, and design exercises, carrying small projects through to completed multiples. In seminars and case studies, students will present and assess an array of publication projects. |
