| Not offered in 2013/2014 LS Two provides students with an introduction to scholarly inquiry in an interdisciplinary format, that addresses a variety of social, economic, cross-cultural and historical contexts. Using a thematic and multi-disciplinary approach, a faculty team of instructors explore significant texts and ideas in visual culture, the humanities, literature and the social sciences to invigorate students’ imaginations and root them in the global project of knowledge building. Students will engage interdisciplinarity as a way of thinking by exploring different research methods with an emphasis on critical thinking, reading, writing and research skills. |
