Graphic Design Thesis challenges students to engage practical and theoretical design outcomes that are appropriate for, and deepen the significance of their chosen area of independent study. The research and initial formal design processes from the fall semester find integration into a range of expressions that shape and give form to raw content and data. Students are encouraged to work across disciplines, media, and fields of knowledge to arrive at a more holisitic view of design practice. The semester concludes with the presentation and defence of design scholarship. |
