Experimentation with non-traditional art materials expands the creative process allowing artists to adapt their artwork to new ideas and possibilities. This course examines ideas and approaches to animated motion. The focus is on artists’ work and how animation is incorporated into a variety of artworks from drawing and painting to photography and installation. Individual and group assignments focus on projects that develop students’ understanding of how process can expand their ideas. |
