As the practice of Industrial Design has evolved, the necessary preparation for this practice has evolved as well. This course will prepare students for the current realities of the practice of their profession. The greatest emphasis will be on presentation: how to present, what to present, whom to present to and why presentations are important. As well, the collaborative nature of contemporary practice will be explored and students will be encouraged to work to their strengths, with the skills necessary to form the collaborative relationships necessary to ensure that all aspects of a project be fulfilled, regardless of specific personal skills. |
