Publishers move strategically between print, mobile and online networks, adapting content for distribution in different formats. Publications: Dissemination provides students with an in-depth opportunity to work individually and collaboratively on publication projects. The course will explore writing, editing and editorial decision-making structures, production/distribution issues and contributor-reader interaction. Hands-on collaborative projects will include print and electronic magazines, catalogues, journals, or books. Students will make individual contributions as well as collaborating on editorial administration and design. Through seminars, visiting artist presentations and case studies, students will explore and assess an array of creative independent publications.
Notes: Priority in registration is given to Publications Specializations students.
