| Open studio offers an opportunity to explore design in the broadest possible terms and consider the potential for transdisciplinary thinking and application in our rapidly evolving, complex world. We will investigate a diverse range of contexts and circumstances — actual and speculative, material, virtual and experiential. Freed from conventional, commercial, purely practical or discipline focused approaches and outcomes, we will consider the potential for design to speculate, experiment, redefine, innovate and liberate. This course will challenge existing notions of design, it will encourage experimentation and play. |
