This course provides students with an introduction to the theory and practice of design management, and its growing importance in business, society and culture. Students will explore different facets of design management at corporate and project levels, and its leadership role in promoting and utilizing the value of design within an organization. Students will learn how to shape an organization’s strategy through implementing design thinking and planning for long-term growth. Students will acquire the skills of managing design strategy and design process along with leading and advocating design agendas and possibilities that will enhance the competitiveness of a company. |
