Mixing analog and digital technologies, students explore and manipulate cinematic materials and processes. At the intersection of animation and cinematic practice, students will create and capture images with a range of cameras and devices, in-camera effects, hand-processing, experimentation with screening surfaces and creative options. Experimental films, video works, animations and installations will be screened and discussed. Students will develop concepts and approaches through individual cinematic projects and critiques. |

Anti-requisite: Students who have taken INTM 3B48 Film Exploration or INTM 3B35 Film for Artists II may not take this course for credit. |
