This postgraduate certificate focuses on the cultural, physical and psychological relationships between ourselves and furniture through conceptual engagement, material investigation and academic contextualization. The certificate is production-oriented, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experimentation and lab work.
The certificate is based around three core furniture design studios to be taken sequentially:
The postgraduate certificate in Furniture Design provides students with a cultural, conceptual and practical understanding of the area of furniture, allowing them to focus on and specialize in project work.

*Condition: If one of these courses is part of a student's major, this 0.5 credit prerequisite cannot count towards the minor. In this case, the student will be required to take an extra 0.5 credit expansion studio in place of this prerequisite. | ||
