A Digital Painting & Expanded Animation specialization brings together courses from the Drawing & Painting and Integrated Media programs as well as Liberal Arts & Sciences and Design. Acknowledging constantly shifting disciplinary boundaries in traditional and digital media, Digital Painting & Expanded Animation is designed to give students a true cross-disciplinary experience supported by a distinct set of competencies and skills. Students will become nimble and successful not only in their studies and experimental studio inquiries, but also within the context of growing digital and knowledge economies.
