Foundational Seminar in Inclu
This seminar course will provide an introduction to the inclusive design of information and communication technologies and practices. The course will cover the theoretical background, advanced computational theory, critical analysis, underpinning social and economic motivations, design methods employed, controversies, as well as the major challenges or problems to be addressed. Students will engage in both a review and analysis of relevant research and the current state of the field combined with more experiential problem solving and the application of inclusive design ICT theory and methods introduced during the course. The course will equip students to engage in well-informed, in-depth critical analysis of inclusive design of information systems and services and to apply rudimentary inclusive design methods. Students with credit in INCD-6B02 may not take this course for credit.
