Unless indicated otherwise, the on-line course registration system is open 24 hours a day during the published registration period.
New first-year students may register starting at 9 am, Thursday, July 3, 2008.

Register early to secure enrolment in required courses, as courses may fill up quickly. If a course is cancelled, you may be notified by telephone and/or by e-mail. It is not always possible to contact you before the start date of the classes.
Priority Enrolment:

Most courses have priority registration for students in a specific Faculty and/or Major. Priority enrolment will end according to the dates below, after which any remaining spaces in courses (except Thesis) will be open to students in other Faculties and Majors.
Year 4 courses – priority enrolment will be lifted on July 30
Year 3 courses – priority enrolment will be lifted on August 4
Year 2 courses – priority enrolment will be lifted on August 8
Students admitted to OCAD on Special Student status will have access to registration starting August 8, 9:00 am. Course eligibility is based on a brief personal interview.

Full-year course (duration 1) registration closes at 4 pm, Friday, September 19, 2008.
Fall semester (duration 2) registration closes at 4 pm, Friday, September 19, 2008.
Winter semester (duration 3) registration closes at 4 pm, Friday, January 16, 2009.
Add, Drop or Change:
You may add, drop (for full refund) or change full-year (duration 1) course sections on-line until 4 pm on Friday, September 19, 2008.
You may add, drop (for full refund) or change course sections on-line for the fall semester (duration 2) until 4 pm on Friday, September 19, 2008.
You may add, drop (for full refund) or change course sections on-line for the winter semester (duration 3) until 4 pm on Friday, January 16, 2009.
Withdrawal Deadlines:
You may not withdraw from full-year (duration 1) courses after
Friday, January 16, 2009.
You may not withdraw from fall semester (duration 2) courses after
Friday, October 31, 2008.
You may not withdraw from winter semester (duration 3) courses after
Friday, March 6, 2009.
Notes:
If fees are not paid by 4 pm, August 22, 2008, you will incur a $45 late payment fee.
Fall and full year classes begin the week of Monday, September 8, 2008.
You will not be eligible to register if you have an outstanding account with the Finance office or with OCAD's Dorothy H. Hoover Library.
